The white 4098 CORE Supercardioid Ceiling Microphone with 6″ Gooseneck, Base, and Microdot Connector from DPA is a versatile mic engineered for panels, conferences, and meetings. The elegant, low-profile design delivers clear, intelligible speech reproduction for demanding professional applications.
The 4098 offers several configuration options; this model’s included base and short gooseneck is well suited to ceiling installation in meeting rooms and small- to mid-sized offices. The base fits most electrical back boxes and makes installation quick and easy.
This version of the microphone is designed for use with wireless systems and terminates in a microdot connector, allowing you to use a detachable adapter to connect to the wireless transmitter of your choice (adapter and transmitter available separately). The mic requires 5 to 10 VDC for operation; alternatively, the mic can be powered via 48V phantom power when used with the DAD6001-BC XLR adapter (available separately).
