ChamSys MQ250MÂ Overview
Control your stage, studio, or live entertainment lighting system with the MagicQ MQ250M Stadium Console with 64-Universe Support and Flight Case from ChamSys. This professional stadium/theater lighting control console can control up to 64 DMX universes and features 10 motorized fader playbacks, 10 encoder playbacks with RGB illumination, dual motorized crossfaders, and backlit buttons. It also features a built-in 15″ multitouch display and an additional 5″ encoder touch display. A separately available upgrade allows you to expand the console capabilities to support 128 universes.
The console features four direct 5-pin DMX outputs and four network ports for connectivity and management, and you can output your console management display using a DisplayPort for an external monitor. There are also audio inputs/outputs, MIDI input/output ports, a 10Scene port, and LTC timecode ports. Its built-in UPS provides a battery-powered safety feature for when power is suddenly interrupted. The console includes two desk lights, a DisplayPort-to-HDMI cable, and a flight case.
- Programmer modes give access to intensities for each patched fixture, to intensities of groups of fixtures, or to individual channels of a fixture. The selected modes enable instant access to the intensities or channels of the currently selected fixtures.
- Master modes provide instant master control of individual fixtures or groups of fixtures without having to preprogram masters—for those live moments when lights are flaring in cameras or key lights need modifying.
- Dual 100mm manual crossfaders together with the prominently placed large Go and Back buttons provide the ultimate theatre control experience.
