ChamSys MQ500MÂ Overview
Control your stage, studio, or live entertainment lighting system with the MagicQ MQ500M Stadium Console with 256-Universe Support and Flight Case from ChamSys. This professional stadium/theater lighting control console can control up to 256 DMX universes and features 15 motorized fader playbacks, 15 encoder playbacks with RGB lighting, 12 assignable keys, dual motorized crossfaders, and backlit buttons. It also features two built-in 15″ multitouch displays and can support up to 8 optional touch displays by extension.
The console features four direct 5-pin DMX outputs and four network ports for connectivity and management, and you can output your console management display using a DVI-D port for an external monitor. There are also an audio input, MIDI input/output ports, remote connector, and LTC timecode ports. Its built-in UPS provides a battery-powered safety feature for when power is suddenly interrupted. The console includes two desk lights, a mouse, a keyboard, and a VESA monitor arm for an optional external monitor.
- Programmer modes give access to intensities for each patched fixture, to intensities of groups of fixtures or to individual channels of a fixture. The selected modes enable instant access to the intensities or channels of the currently selected fixtures.
- Master modes provide instant master control of individual fixtures or groups of fixtures without having to preprogram masters—for those live moments when lights are flaring in cameras or key lights need modifying.
- Dual 100mm crossfade faders are fully motorized and together with the prominently placed large GO and BACK buttons provide the ultimate theatre control experience.
