CHAUVET PROFESSIONAL RDMX Splitter 8 Overview

The RDMX Splitter 8 from Chauvet is an RDM/DMX opto-splitter that features eight outputs and two inputs which allow the unit to support single or dual universes. Its powerCON power linking facilitates splitting at a fixture where power and data are already present. Suitable for worldwide use, the steel and aluminum-constructed Splitter 8 has an auto-ranging 100 to 240 VAC power supply and can be rack or truss-mounted.

Benefits
  • Universal RDM E1.20 compliant 5-pin DMX opto-splitter that supports either 1×8 (single universe) or 2×4 (dual universes) modes with the press of a button or functions as a 2×4 A/B splitter
  • Rugged reinforced housing supports 1 RU rackmount and mounting to pipe and truss without additional accessories
  • Electrical isolation between inputs and outputs up to 1000V between ports
  • powerCON power linking supported to make it easy to split signal at a fixture, where power and data are already present
  • Power linking also makes it easy to install next to existing fixtures, so isolating, amplifying, and splitting signal are effortless
