Lighting designers looking for an outdoor-ready (IP65) spot moving head will be impressed with the CHAUVET PROFESSIONAL Rogue Outcast 3 Spot, a rugged luminaire that delivers the color possibilities of dual color wheels, the dynamic morphing effects of dual gobo wheels, the beauty of smooth 16-bit fades, and a wide zoom range that adds flexibility to achieving desired coverage, well suited for theatrical, house of worship, touring, small-to-medium festivals, and event applications. The Rogue Outcast 3 Spot is powered by a single 300W cool-white LED that generates a bright beam of up to 56,916 lux at 16.4′.
The unit features dual color wheels with seven colors each plus white that are individually controllable for solid and split hues. The wheel offers continuous scroll at variable speeds. There is also a motorized 5-facet prism as well as motorized frost effects for even light distribution. There are two gobo wheels that offer even more creative options for massive visual impact (Gobo 1: 7 metal, interchangeable; Gobo 2: 8 metal, fixed). The unit can be controlled via DMX or RDM and features two personalities (20 or 25 channels). The Rogue Outcast 3 Spot ships with two Omega brackets and a Seetronic Powerkon IP65 power cord.
