Digital Compatibility

  • High-Resolution Digital Output: When used with the optional MZD 8000 digital module, the MKH 8070 outputs an AES42 signal at up to 24-bit / 192 kHz resolution and allows remote control of DSP functions such as low-cut filtering and attenuation.

Ideal for Boompole Mounting

  • Nonreflective Nextel Coating: The microphone’s metal body features a nonreflective Nextel coating to prevent distracting visual reflections.
  • Mounting Options: The MKH 8070 can be mounted directly on a stand or boompole using the supplied mic clip. For enhanced vibration isolation, it can be placed in the separately available Sennheiser MZS 20-1 combination shockmount, pistol grip, and stand adapter.
