Description

The Soundcraft FX16ii is a 16-channel mixer offering powerful mixing features and flexible routing for a variety of recording, sound reinforcement, and monitor mixing applications. Each of the 16 input channels can be fed via a 3-pin XLR mic input or 1/4″ TRS line input, and features a 1/4″ insert jack for connection of analog outboard gear. The mic preamps provide 48 VDC phantom power and up to 60 dB of gain. Tonally sculpt your sources via 3-band EQ and high-pass filtering on every channel, and easily add reverb, delay, or modulation with the integrated 24-bit Lexicon effects processor, which boasts 32 presets, three dedicated parameter knobs, and a tap tempo function.

All channels have three independent mono aux sends, making the FX16ii well suited to monitor mixing and hookup of external effects processors. The 16 direct outputs are ideal for pre- or post-fader signal routing to a multitrack recorder or an additional mixer, while subgroup and mix outputs with inserts enable versatile bus structuring. In addition to the XLR stereo mix outputs, 1/4″ mono mix output, and 1/4″ subgroup outputs, the FX16ii has 1/4″ monitor outs and a top-panel headphone jack. Thanks to a rotatable connector pod, this mixer supports desktop or rackmount configurations (rack rails available separately).
