AtlasIED UHT and UKT Series 8″ Ceiling Loudspeakers

The AtlasIED UHT and UKT Series are 8″ diameter single and dual voice coil speakers, designed to provide extended frequency response with high intelligibility and minimal distortion. These cost-effective speakers are equipped with a dual whizzer cone and a 10 oz. ceramic magnet for superior sound performance. Both series feature fire-retardant, moisture-proof cones, making them ideal for life safety and emergency signaling systems.

The UHT Series includes speakers with a 1″ diameter voice coil, offering a choice between a 70.7V or 25V transformer and a DC blocking capacitor for line supervision applications. Meanwhile, the UKT Series is equipped with two 1″ voice coils, dual transformers (70.7V or 25V), and a DC blocking capacitor, ensuring enhanced performance in dual voice coil configurations.

Each speaker unit is supplied with 6″ color-coded leads and comes with a wide selection of architecturally pleasing baffles, allowing for unobtrusive ceiling installation. These speakers comply with UL Standard 1480 for fire-protective signaling systems and must be used with UL-approved enclosures to meet safety requirements.
