The AtlasIED UKT70-2C-U161-8 is an 8″ diameter dual voice coil speaker designed to deliver extended frequency response and high intelligibility with minimal distortion. The speaker is equipped with a dual cone (whizzer) system and a 10 oz. ceramic magnet, making it a cost-effective solution for high-performance audio in fire-protective signaling and emergency applications.

Each unit comes complete with a fire-retardant, moisture-proof cone and dual factory-mounted 70.7V transformers with 6″ color-coded leads for easy installation. Additionally, the speaker includes DC blocking capacitors to protect against potential damage from power surges. The package also features a 161-8 baffle for ceiling-mount applications.

To comply with UL safety standards, the speaker packages must be installed with UL-approved enclosures to meet the requirements of UL Standard 1480 for speakers used in fire-protective signaling systems.
