The AtlasIED UKT70-2C-U51-8 is an 8″ diameter dual voice coil speaker designed for extended frequency response with high intelligibility and minimal distortion. Equipped with a dual cone (whizzer) and 10 oz. ceramic magnet, this cost-effective unit provides excellent audio performance, making it ideal for life safety and emergency signaling applications.

Each speaker includes a fire-retardant, moisture-proof cone, a factory-mounted 70.7V transformer, 6″ color-coded leads for easy wiring, and a DC blocking capacitor for protection against power surges. The speaker also comes with a 51-8 baffle, making it ready for ceiling-mount installation.

In compliance with UL requirements, the speaker package must be installed with UL-approved enclosures to meet the standards of UL Standard 1480, which certifies speakers used in fire-protective signaling systems.
