The clear dome protects the camera from sun, dust, debris, water splashes, and vandals. You can mount the assembly onto an NPT standard 1.5″ ceiling pipe using its built-in pipe adapter, and it allows you to pan and tilt the camera into the proper position. The dome is constructed with durable, optical-grade polycarbonate and the can enclosure is made from metal.
