AtlasIED VPVT-PB Series Vandal-Proof Speaker Station

The AtlasIED VPVT-PB Series is a highly durable, vandal-proof speaker station designed to withstand extreme conditions, including abuse, moisture, corrosion, dust, vibration, and temperatures ranging from -30°F to 150°F. It is available in a 15-watt model, featuring a 12-gauge stainless steel plate that is mounted to the high-efficiency VT Series compression driver. This patented 8-ohm driver includes a water-sealed die-cast zinc housing and an exponential sound projector, providing exceptional performance and high intelligibility for voice and signal transmission.

The speaker station also functions as a microphone, enabling hands-free remote communication with a centrally located master control. The VPVT-PB Series is equipped with a vandal-proof call switch featuring a 3-amp contact rating, providing reliable call-in signaling capability. The heavy-duty, momentary action push button is flush-mounted for increased security and durability.

This station is installed using tamperproof, button-head breakaway screws into a recessed mounting enclosure (Model VP-77, sold separately). The station measures 7 1/4″ square (184mm) and fits into the VP-77 enclosure with dimensions of 5 1/2″W x 6 1/4″H x 3 1/2″D (159 x 140 x 90mm). The enclosure is made from 16-gauge CRS and features a rust-preventive coating.

Additionally, the VPB-1A is an optional vandal-resistant push switch accessory mounted to a single-gang 12-gauge stainless steel plate, designed for use as a stand-alone signaling device or in conjunction with VPVT and VPCS stations.
