AtlasIED VP410-S Unidirectional Vandal-Proof Baffle/Enclosure

The AtlasIED VP410-S is a robust, unidirectional, vandal-proof baffle and enclosure designed for use with standard 8″ (203mm) speakers. It is also compatible with the APF Series flange mounting horn, provided an adapter plate (Model FAMT-6) is used. This model is compatible specifically with the APF-15 8Ω horn, but not the APF-15T transformer version due to height restrictions.

The housing is constructed from spun .090 tempered aluminum for maximum durability and strength. The rear edges of the baffle are slightly recessed, allowing the baffle to sit tightly against the ceiling, preventing tampering from behind. The grille trim ring is made from a special, self-aging aluminum alloy with a tensile strength of 44,000 PSI, offering twice the strength of conventional aluminum castings.

The speaker grille is reinforced with a stainless steel, woven wire mesh screen, spun over a 21-gauge perforated CRS subplate, providing additional protection. The unit is assembled with flush-mount, heat-treated alloy screws, which are countersunk to enhance security and come with a special wrench for installation.

The VP410-S mounts to standard E.O. boxes (not included) via keyhole slots or can be flush-mounted to a ceiling or wall with additional anchors for a more secure installation. The baffle and housing are finished in satin aluminum with a clear lacquer coating for a polished, durable look.
