AtlasIED VPCS Series Vandal-Proof Intercom and Paging Stations

The AtlasIED VPCS Series speaker stations are equipped with a 2 1/2″ (64mm) diameter loudspeaker designed to deliver clear, reliable voice and signal transmission. The speaker features a phenolic resin impregnated, moisture-proof cloth cone for long-lasting durability. The series includes two die-cast baffles, offering protection from vandalism, ensuring the loudspeaker assembly remains secure and functional.

The series offers options with a 25V transformer, providing 1/4, 1/2, 1, and 2-watt taps, or a 45Ω configuration. Models with the “PB” designation include a vandal-proof push-button call switch, ideal for situations requiring call origination or added security. The push button is a heavy-duty, momentary action switch, rated for 3A at 120VAC/1.5A at 250VAC, and mounted on a rugged 11-gauge stainless steel faceplate.

The faceplate is designed to mount to standard 2 or 3-gang E.O. boxes using countersunk 6-32 mounting screws. The pushbutton assembly is constructed from nickel-plated brass and sealed against moisture with an IP65 rating, ensuring reliable performance in challenging environments. The optional VPB-1A is a vandal-resistant push switch accessory, mounted to a single-gang stainless steel plate, and can be used in conjunction with VPCS stations or as a standalone signaling device.
