AtlasIED VPCS Series Intercom and Paging Speaker Stations
The AtlasIED VPCS Series offers high-performance intercom and paging stations equipped with a 2 1/2″ (64mm) diameter loudspeaker, designed to deliver clear voice and signal transmission. The loudspeaker features a phenolic resin impregnated, moisture-proof cloth cone, ensuring long-lasting durability in challenging environments. To safeguard the loudspeaker assembly from potential damage, the series includes a two-piece die-cast baffle system for vandal protection.
The series is available in two configurations: a 25V transformer version with power taps at 1/4, 1/2, 1, and 2 watts, or a 45Ω model. Stations labeled with “PB” are equipped with a vandal-proof push-button call switch, ideal for locations where call origination is required. The heavy-duty, momentary action push-button is rated for 3A at 120VAC/1.5A at 250VAC and is mounted to a robust 11-gauge stainless steel faceplate.
Installation is straightforward, with the faceplate designed to fit standard 2 or 3-gang E.O. boxes using countersunk 6-32″ screws. The push-button assembly is constructed from nickel-plated brass and is IP65 rated for moisture resistance, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. The VPB-1A accessory is also available as a vandal-resistant push-switch for signaling or as a standalone call origination device.
