AtlasIED VPCS Series Speaker Stations

The AtlasIED VPCS Series stations are designed for clear voice and signal transmission, equipped with a 2 1/2″ (64mm) diameter loudspeaker featuring a moisture-proof, phenolic resin impregnated cloth cone for reliable and durable performance. To safeguard against vandalism, the series includes a two-piece die-cast baffle system protecting the loudspeaker assembly.

This series is available with a 25V transformer offering 1/4, 1/2, 1, and 2-watt power taps, or in a 45Ω configuration. Models with the “PB” designation feature a vandal-proof push-button call switch, making them suitable for applications requiring call origination for security purposes. The “PB” models have a heavy-duty, momentary action push-button rated for 3A at 120VAC/1.5A at 250VAC, mounted on a robust 11-gauge stainless steel faceplate.

The faceplate is compatible with standard 2 or 3-gang electrical outlet (E.O.) boxes and is secured using countersunk 6-32 mounting screws. The push-button switch is single pole, single throw (SPST), normally open and made from nickel-plated brass, sealed for moisture resistance (IP65 rating). Additionally, the VPB-1A accessory is available for use as a stand-alone signaling device or in conjunction with other stations for call origination purposes.
