Product Description:
AtlasIED VPVT-4PB Series Vandal-Proof Speaker Station
The AtlasIED VPVT-4PB Series is a vandal-proof speaker station designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions, including abuse, moisture, corrosion, dust, vibration, and extreme temperatures ranging from 150°F to -30°F. This robust 15-watt speaker station features a 12-gauge stainless steel plate mounted to the highly efficient VT Series compression driver. The 8-ohm driver, which is patented and constructed with a water-sealed die-cast zinc housing, delivers reliable performance with clear voice and signal transmission through an exponential sound projector.
The station can function as both a speaker and a microphone, allowing for hands-free, remote station communication with a centralized master control. The assemblies are mounted securely using tamperproof, button-head breakaway screws to a recessed mounting enclosure (Model VP-77, sold separately). The VPVT-PB unit measures 7 1/4″ square (184mm) and mounts to the VP-77 enclosure, which measures 5 1/2″W x 6 1/4″H x 3 1/2″D (159 x 140 x 90mm). This enclosure is constructed from 16-gauge CRS and coated with a rust-preventive finish.
The VPB-1A is an optional vandal-resistant push switch intercom accessory, mounted on a 12-gauge stainless steel plate and installed using a vandal-proof hardware setup.
