AtlasIED Atmosphere X-ANS Ambient Noise Sensor

The Atmosphere X-ANS is an advanced ambient noise sensor designed for seamless integration with the Atmosphere AZM to support Ambient Noise Compensation (ANC) and Loud Noise Detection (LND) functionality. The ANC feature enables automatic volume adjustments within a specific zone based on the current environmental noise levels, ensuring optimal sound clarity. LND monitors ambient noise and triggers actions when predefined noise thresholds are exceeded, enhancing the system’s adaptability in dynamic environments.

The X-ANS uses sophisticated DSP algorithms, developed with patented data collection techniques, to continuously learn from user adjustments and adapt an automatic noise compensation curve tailored to each space. This intelligent algorithm ensures reliable performance with minimal user intervention, creating a truly hands-free environmental configuration.

Up to four X-ANS sensors can be assigned per zone, with a total of eight devices supported by the AZM’s accessory bus. The system sends only sensor data, without transmitting any audio content back to the host processor, making it ideal for environments where privacy is critical.
