AtlasIED Z-SIGN Wireless Transceiver

The AtlasIED Z-SIGN is a versatile wireless transceiver designed for use with the Z Series Z2 and Z4 base units. It allows remote activation of the Speech Privacy Enhancement mode, ideal for environments where secure speech privacy is essential. The Z-SIGN also functions as a visual indicator, notifying users when the room is in Speech Privacy Enhancement mode. This optional device can be mounted on a wall or placed on a desk and powered by either rechargeable batteries or a 5V DC power supply.

The Z-SIGN supports three key operational modes:

1. Wireless Switch and Visual Indicator: The most common use, where the Z-SIGN activates the Speech Privacy Enhancement mode and visually indicates when it’s engaged.
2. Visual Indicator Only: In this mode, the activation button is disabled, and the Z-SIGN serves purely as a visual aid, ideal as an additional indicator in meeting rooms.
3. Data Conduit: It can also act as a data transmission and receiving device, communicating with a mobile device via BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and transmitting over longer distances (up to 100 feet) to the Z Series base unit via the 915 MHz ISM Band.

Paired with the Z Series mobile app, the Z-SIGN facilitates mobile control of the Z Series system, enabling users to manage and adjust settings remotely.
