AtlasIED Z Series Z4-B Sound Masking & Paging System

The Z Series is an all-in-one solution that not only provides exceptional sound masking and speech privacy but also delivers high-quality background music and paging. Designed with a wide range of features, the Z Series adapts to diverse design requirements while offering easy installation and intuitive operation.

The Z4-B model features a 4-zone, 120-watt configuration, making it ideal for businesses of all types that require sound masking, paging, and background music (BGM). It offers four zones of 70V output and can be configured in multiple modes:

• Four-zone indirect sound masking (covering up to 14,000 sq. ft.)
• Two zones of direct sound masking
• A combination of indirect sound masking and BGM zones.

This versatile unit supports multiple mounting options, including in-wall, surface mount, or rack mount, with all wiring and hardware securely housed behind a lockable front panel for centralized, clutter-free installation. The front panel display enables easy programming and user control, and the system comes preconfigured with sound masking presets developed by Dr. Bob Chanaud, a renowned expert in the field. Custom presets can also be loaded via the front panel USB port using the included PC project design software.

For enhanced speech privacy in conference rooms, the Z4-B features a Speech Privacy Enhancement Mode that increases privacy levels by adding acoustical energy to the environment. This feature can be activated using a hardwired switch, iOS® or Android® app, or an optional wireless desktop/wall-mount switch. A visual aid, available as an optional wired or wireless sign, can indicate when the Speech Privacy Enhancement feature is active.
